Upcoming Workshop (Summer 2017 - date to be announced shortly)
I will be organising a workshop for more experienced Alexander Technique students in the next couple of months. This will be open to my students, to students of other teachers, and to trainee teachers.
With the usual very high teacher-student ratio, we will explore together some of the basic principles of the A.T. through discussion and practical activites.
As many of you know, I have organised workshops of different sizes and in different formats from time to time in the past. These are always friendly events, and everyone has a nice time.
This workshop will be informal, with a loose structure, and there will be a very high ratio of teachers to students, ensuring that everyone will receive plenty of individual attention from several different teachers.
The slightly different approach of each teacher provides a new perspective, an opportunity better to understand the AT and further to develop one’s skills. Observing others being worked with in a supportive group situation can also be very helpful. Students have generally found these workshops to be fun and inspiring.
If possible, please let me know by Monday 20th March if you would like to attend.
Note 1/4/17: This workshop was attended by 20 students and 11 teachers.
